What is it that fuels you? For me, I have learned to own my story and use it to help other women in their journey to overcoming. I love to write and I love helping whoever I can but my primary focus is with women. This is a way I can merge those two passions. I am always busy creating something whether it's through my writing, art, or simply following my intuition when I get inspired ideas for ways to serve my community.

I am 46 and in many ways I'm just getting started. I am well versed in social action and community service work, however what is newer to me is being completely unabashed about being myself, owning my story and allowing my voice to be heard. I have learned that fear is a waste of time in the grand scheme of life. I have let go of fear and with that, I've stepped into a version of me that is much happier and more me than ever before. To some, this may seem like a midlife crisis, but for me, it's been magic. The real crisis was the first half of my life, so this, this is certainly not that. This is my 2nd act and I am unafraid; it's a pretty powerful place to be.

I love to share my story and my heart with others in hopes to inspire, motivate, empower and change the culture around women and the narratives around "midlife crisis" as if the best is behind us after a certain age. That is nothing short of nonsense and I intend to be advocating and working for social change well into old age.

My midlife manifesto is simply to stand in my power, being true to myself, grateful and celebrate this season of strength because i have known what it feels like to feel powerless. I have overcome MANY things and I've done so keeping my heart kind and my sense of humor intact. I am my greatest passion project because I have a responsibility to improve myself for myself and for the community. The more I grow the further I go and you will too. I hope you enjoy browsing my site and all of the unique content I have to offer. Take a look around; perhaps you’ll discover what fuels you as well. Read on and enjoy!
